How to Bridge $ANRX from L1 to L2 for Gameplay

Bridging your tokens from Ethereum to Polygon (Matic) is a necessity for playing the game. Read more below to learn how to use the Token Bridge inside of Battle Wave 2323.

As the prices for Layer 1 Ethereum gas fees climb, the burden of this gas cost has affected not only the applications running on the L1 network, but also all of the users of those applications, simultaneously. In an effort to create the optimal gaming experience for our users, we took a careful look at Layer 1 functionalities that we and our players were using, and designed a hybrid gaming ecosystem on Layer 2 that brings these costs back down to a manageable (and consistent!) level.

Since $ANRX trades primarily on Layer 1 as an ERC20 token, we started by building an $ANRX L1/L2 Bridge directly into our game to make it easy for players to convert their $ANRX for gameplay (and back again for trading).

This in-game bridge enables conversion both from L1 to L2, and from L2 back to L1. Since this requires users to add and switch between RPC networks in their wallet (which can be very confusing for users!), we built functions into Battle Wave 2323 to help you do this with a single button click.

To use the bridge, simply select the quantity of $ANRX that you want to bridge (or click Max to select them all), and then click Withdraw to instantly move back and forth between game tokens and trading tokens.
